The Reach Intern Teacher Credential Program will support you to obtain an Intern Teaching Credential and then develop your teaching practice while you are working toward achieving equitable student outcomes as you fulfill requirements for a California K-12 Preliminary Teaching Credential. The Intern Program operates in a cohort model that can be completed in 2 years and results in a California Preliminary Teaching Credential.

The Reach Intern Teacher Credential Program + Master of Arts in Teaching supports equity-oriented district and charter school teachers to transform educational experiences for historically underserved students as they pursue a California Preliminary Teaching credential while also concurrently earning a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) degree.

The Reach Teacher Induction Program believes that an inquiry-based approach to teaching is vitally important to high quality teaching. Through regular work with a site based mentor, teachers in the Induction program design individual cycles of inquiry based on their personal learning needs. The Induction Program can be completed in 1-2 years and results in a California Clear Teaching Credential.

The Reach Instructional Leadership Academy is a three year program that believes that an inquiry-based approach to instructional problem solving is key to high quality leadership. The focus on job-embedded coursework, supported by monthly coaching, is a signature of our approach. Year 1 of the Instructional Leadership Academy results in a Preliminary Administrative Services Credential (or Certificate of Eligibility for an Administrative Services Credential). Year 2 of the Instructional Leadership Academy results in a Master of Education in Instructional Leadership. Year 3 of the Instructional Leadership Academy results in a Clear Administrative Services Credential.

The Reach Coaching Certificate Program believes that instructional coaching and coaching for equity are at the heart of instructional improvement. Candidates in this program will be introduced to key coaching skills through our seminars and have the opportunity to hone those skills through video submissions, coaching sessions, and a performance assessment.

The Reach Facilitation Certificate Program believes that high quality ongoing professional learning is a critical factor in improving schools. Candidates will be introduced to adult learning theory, research-based professional development frameworks, and develop their facilitation skills video submissions, coaching sessions, and a performance assessment.
