Alumni

Alumni of the Reach Institute for School Leadership continue to work in public schools in both teaching and leadership roles. In a 2016 survey of alumni, 75% of respondents (n=84) report that they are still working in education. Reach alumni continue to have ongoing access to learning resources, career resources and the Reach community at large.

M.Ed. in Teaching (MinT)

Of the people who have been in the MinT program since 2012-2013:
82% (n=9) of MinT graduates are still in education

27% (n=3) MinT graduates are in positions of educational leadership

18% (n=2) MinT graduates have submitted articles (based on their Action Research Capstone) for publication in education journals

1 MinT graduate’s article was accepted for publication

1 MinT graduate will present findings based on the Action Research Capstone at 2 conference presentations

ILA Alumni Job Placement Data

ILA alumni work in a variety of leadership capacities in traditional public schools, public charter school districts, and to a lesser extent foundations and other education-focused organizations. Alumni are leading change at the school level – managing people, data and processes to foster school improvement as coaches, teachers leaders, and school principals; and at the district level – working to shape a vision of academic success for all students, through various central administrative roles.
